Dr. Christensen was born in Brigham City, Utah, and is the oldest of six children. After attending Utah State University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees, he earned his doctoral degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences, a division of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Christensen has worked in a variety of settings including the Clark County School District, University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, several ear, nose and throat (ENT) physician's offices and multiple private practice settings. He is an author, lecturer and clinical preceptor for fourth-year doctoral students. He has practiced audiology for 38 years and brings a wide variety of experience to Advanced Audiology Institute.

Dr. Christensen is married with two children and three grandchildren. He enjoys animals, RV'ing, swimming, skiing, tennis and traveling.
